Cem holds B.S. in Industrial Engineering and two master’s degrees in Management & Organization, and European Union Politics & International Relations. He began his career at Ekol Logistics, the market leader in 3PL logistics in Turkey as Key Account Specialist to analyze supply chain processes of large enterprises to offer customized value-added logistics solutions, He moved to Doha, Qatar to took a business development role at Samko International WLL, an engineering contractor in 2004. He then joined Elginkan Holding AS, a Turkish industrial conglomerate, as their Strategic Planning and Business Development Specialist where he spent 5 years in leading strategy, investments and new market entry projects.
In 2010, he joined Yildiz Holding AS as M&A Director where he spent 13 years, managing more than 50 projects in strategy, business development and M&A. Yildiz is a conglomerate with $14Bn in revenues and owner of more than 300 brands including Godiva (US), McVities (UK), BN (FR) and Ulker (TR) in food and beverages, discount retail and C&C chains, private equity, packaging, tourism and real estate operations globally.
Cem joins the AZAQ team as Director of Business Development, developing and strengthening strategic business relationships with partners to deliver sustainable shareholder value.
