Asghar Ali, Finance Director, Graduated from University of Karachi University in Pakistan, with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. with over 22 years of experience leading all aspects of financial and management accounting while aligning complex financial objectives. Asghar has comprehensive experience managing all accounting operations ranging from statutory reporting, management reporting, and treasury management to operational cost control and controlling.

Asghar started his career with Larr Sugar Mills Ltd, Karachi, Pakistan, and helped Larr Sugar in a standardized sugar cane procurement system through the successful integration with the ERP system. Following this Asghar joined Industrial & Mechanical Engineers (Pvt) Ltd, a renowned manufacturer of custom-made industrial equipment as an Accounts Manager, he has created and implemented adequate job order costing process along with variance analysis.

Asghar then moved to Ali Zaid Al Quraishi and Brothers Group. Throughout his career in AZAQ, Asghar Ali has contributed to providing strategic guidance and leadership to in-house teams, expertly managing IFRS convergence projects with more than ten subsidiaries and group consolidation, and Establishing group finance and treasury functions. analyze group companies’ financials to maintain compliance with statutory requirements, bank covenants, and group policies. Asghar Ali play a key role re-structuring AZAQ Group subsidiaries over the years.
