Andy Headon-Smith is a seasoned IT Executive with a distinguished career spanning over 25 years across multiple industries in the UK and Middle East.
After earning his bachelor’s degree in Accounts & Finance from Strathclyde University in Glasgow, he embarked on his career with Ernst & Young in UK. Transitioning to Information Technology, he joined Halifax Bank, where he made significant contributions to the redesign and development of their ATM Platform.
Further honing his software development skills through roles at The British Library and other UK-based companies, Andy moved to the Middle East in 2006. There, he held senior management positions at Mammut Group, Al Ain Wildlife Park & Resort, and Dutco Group before joining AZAQ in 2024.
Andy has a proven track record of successfully implementing and integrating large-scale enterprise applications, deploying comprehensive security frameworks, managing complex IT infrastructure projects, and spearheading digital transformation and automation initiatives.
