Ali Amjad, General Manager at AQM, has strong expertise in business management and joined with 14+ years of experience in leading FMCG companies.
Before joining AQM, Ali worked with well-known local and global companies like Mondelez, Almarai and Fonterra. He has a great understanding of marketing, sales, operations, commercial leadership and revenue growth management.
Ali holds a master’s degree in marketing and a joint bachelor’s in economics and finance. He also completed Executive Leadership program from University of Oxford.
Ali started his career with Continental Biscuits Ltd (JV of Mondelez International). He moved to Saudi Arabia by joining Almarai Company (one the leading FCMG companies in GCC), during his time at Almarai he worked across different businesses (bakery, longlife dairy and fresh dairy). Later Ali also worked in Fonterra Brands Middle East and turned around the business by doubling the market share, optimizing cost and delivering exceptionally on the bottom line.
He is known for being visionary, building the next leaders and improving work culture.
